Hello, the halo is caused by the high percentage of humidity and the over-saturation of the blue, try to decrease the luminance and saturation curves with your photo editor. Greetings, Beppe;-)

Thanks for the ride Beppe!
In pp I tried to lower the luminance of the blue but did not change very much ..
So you say it's disgusting the picture?

no not at all, it is very nice, except that instead of inimicarti light pollution you have to use to get the attention on the background and not on the first floor ... blue is innaturare and I in this amendment that I propose, I just lowered the threshold of the blue, then in the second step I have slightly elevated mixing them with purple, as I raised slightly the ranges of yellow ... maybe he can not like it, but I wanted to show you that with a few tweaks you can retrieve a picture ... the goal is to have the white stars and blue, and at the same time to give prominence to the background of the image and not the other. In pp need to play hard and with a lot of patience, for example, this photo I used the editor to ACDSee Pro which is more brisk, but Lighroom Photo Shop is much more suitable for landscapes as c '& egrave; more choice in the settings of the dynamics of color, light and shadows.

Thank you so much for the advice.
I tried to make a version b / a version where I desaturated the blue of the stars and I removed the central brighter .. I look prettier :)

Ciao!

Sorriso
Un saluto
F.

Hello!
I also confirm that the halo is due to the high humidity in the atmosphere (it can be seen clearly those veiled yellow clouds that caused the effect), to me the blue color of the stars do not bother, even the PP seems natural and pleasant.

Actually I am not convinced too composition, it seems very biased to the right because of that big dark mountain that leads the eye to stop them rather than slide on the sky.
Another thing you notice is very vignetting (especially high in the corners of the sky), you should close at f2.8 next time maybe a hair raising the ISO, not allungherei shutter speeds because with a 24mm is 6D risks have the stars crawl over 13-15 seconds.
:-)
A greeting
F.

Grazie mille riaz!

Thank you very much riaz!
Unfortunately, the temperature that night it allowed me to stay out too .. the right time for two shots :(
