Tony Krupicka, nella vita, corre. Più precisamente fa ultra-maratone in montagna. L'ho conosciuto la settimana dopo l'Utmb, nel giardino di un hotel a Chamonix. L'occasione era scattargli alcune foto per un'intervista che sarebbe poi uscita questo mese su Ski-alper. Più che un'intervista, si può dire che sia stata una chiaccherata su vari temi, la sua prestazione in gara, conclusasi con un deludente 47° posto, i suoi pensieri riguardo alla corsa in montagna, ma anche argomenti come la passione per il caffè, i libri, le donne e la religione. Toni appartiene a una piccola categoria di persone, difficili da trovare. Quel tipo di persone che ti parlano della loro "passeggiata" sul Monte Bianco andata/ritorno in poco più di 6 ore e, subito dopo, di quanto sia bello il libro che stanno leggendo.
