La ripresa e' stata fatta durante la pulizia annuale dei nidi artificiali di un oasi wwf che frequento da un paio di anni. L'apertura dei nidi stessi e' stata effettuata da due biologi dell'universita' di Pavia accompagnati dai volontari wwf monitorando la presenza di eventuali nidificazioni.
in due di questi nidi abbiamo trovato la presenza dei moscardini in letargo, che dopo essere stati pesati e misurati a scopo di studio sono stati riposizionati come in origine.
Quasi tutti i nidi artificiali sono risultati occupati da passeriformi (presumibilmente cince), molti portavano tracce di predazione(foro di entrata allargato resti di nidiacei) da parte di picchi e scoiattoli, in uno addirittura abbiamo ritrovato i resti di uno scoiattolo praticamente mummificato che sara' studiato dai biologi.
