I also do not disinserisco almost never, but I've heard conflicting experiences on the use of the stabilizer on the stand.

Non vedo controindicazioni ad usarlo sul cavalletto. Lasciando il VC attivo vengono ridotte a zero le vibrazioni, che comunque anche su cavalletto ci sono. Questo consente di ottenere scatti molto nitidi anche con tempi relativamente lunghi. Qui ero circa a 4/5m...in pratica è un crop 100 %
I see no contraindications to use it on the stand. Leaving the VC active vibrations are reduced to zero, however, that even on a tripod there.
