Bellissimo posto, la foto a me piace molto, forse avrei aperto un minimo le ombre, ma pochissimo per non snaturare l'atmosfera del momento.

Anam82, d'accordo con quello che mi dici, ma il fatto è che le ombre non hanno dettaglio e quindi mi era impossibile aprirle ulteriormente.

Posto spettacolare! bella immagine, per me ci stava il doppio scatto per controllare meglio la gamma, tra l'altro l'impostazione iso 50 costringe a chiudere maggiormente le ombre vista la risposta più ripida nelle luci.

Caterina, forse non ho specificato (e mi scuso per questo) che si tratta di un mosaico di quattro immagini in quadrato allo scopo di prendere tutto il campo che è almeno 150 gradi in orizzontale o forse piu'.
Ma il punto è che la parte inferiore, cioe' quella relativa al mare e le rocce, è stata ottenuta dalla mediana di 19 fotogrammi da 2,5 secondi di esposizione ciascuno.
Mentre invece la parte superiore relativa al cielo è una esposizione singola (piu' precisamente due esposizioni unite in orizzontale).
Si è trattato di un esperimento per verificare se potevo in qualche modo ottenere l'effetto seta sul mare senza l'aiuto di un filtro ND che sul sammy 14mm non potrei montare.
Quindi alla fine, forse l'esperimento di mediare (con la mediana in PS) 19 immagini da 2,5 secondi di esposizione l'una, ha ottenuto l'effetto di una singola esposizione da 47,5 secondi (19x2,5) di posa con filtro ND?

Catherine, maybe I did not specify (and I apologize for this) that it is a mosaic of four images in the square in order to take the whole field which is at least 150 degrees horizontally or maybe more '.
But the point is that the lower part, that 'those relating to the sea and the rocks, was obtained from the median of 19 frames of 2.5 seconds of exposure each.
Whereas the upper part on the sky is a single exposure (more 'precisely two exposures combined into horizontal).
It was an experiment to see if I could somehow get the silky effect on the sea without the help of an ND filter that I could mount on 14mm sammy.
So in the end, Perhaps the experiment to mediate (with the median in PS) 19 images 2.5 seconds of exposure each, has had the effect of a single exposure to 47.5 seconds (19x2,5) pose with filter ND?

credo he il risultato finale sia molto piacevole... nel ridimensionamento le ombre sono troppo chiuse.. ma credo che nel file originale sia meglio!!

Hai ragione, nel file originale ci sono un mucchio di dettagli in piu nelle ombre.....ma come fare a recuperarli quando il file originale non combacia piu con la parte dell'immagine finale in questione per il fatto che è stata distorta dal programma di unione delle 4 immagini?

In ogni modo a me i filtri non sono mai piaciuti e quindi usare lo script di PS per impilare una dozzina di immagini e poi mediarle non è poi cosi' macchinoso, anche se con un bel ND8 ci si toglie il disturbo.
A proposito di "disturbo"  , oltre che l'effetto seta, a mediare molte immagini si ottiene un notevole abbattimento del disturbo (rumore).

In any case, I have never liked the filters and then use the script to PS for stacking a dozen images and then mediarle is not so 'clunky, though with a nice ND8 you remove the noise.
Speaking of "noise":-D, as well as the effect of silk, to mediate many images you get a considerable reduction of the disturbance (noise).

Nice composition and beautiful colors. Interesting experiment. I too find the shadows too closed. There is a perceived discrepancy between the appearance of long exposure of the sea and the clouds still (although this does not particularly bother), but mostly it seems to me that there is a cut silk effect on the sea surface that is missing in the plans further afield.

Ciao Giovanni, conosco la tecnica e ne ho visto alcuni esempi i risultati sono buoni ma personalmente preferisco lavorare con i filtri, l'effetto mosso è leggermente diverso, ho l'holder non comodissimo da mettere e togliere.. ma non ho ancora preso il filtro, per ora quando mi servono tempi lunghi cerco d'arrangiarmi con il 17-40

Hello John, I know the technique and I've seen some examples of the results are good but personally I prefer to work with filters, blur is slightly different, I have the holder is not convenient to put on and take off .. but I have not yet taken the filter, for now when I need a long time I try to make do with the 17-40;-)

Meglio, anche se c'è ancora qualche zona molto chiusa, più che altro è il brusco passaggio tonale tra i toni scuri e il nero assoluto che salta un po' all'occhio, ma quando si lavora con panoramiche composte da esposizioni multiple è normale avere delle difficoltà, sono molto complesse da gestire sia sul campo che in post, per un eventuale acquisto ti consiglio il nuovo 16-35 f4 da quello che ho visto davvero una gran lente
