Beautiful place, the photo I really like, I might have opened a minimum the shadows, but very little not to distort the atmosphere of the moment.

Grazie Indianajones2 e Anam82! Sorriso

Thanks Indianajones2 and Anam82! :-)

Anam82, I agree with what you say, but the fact is that the shadows have no detail and therefore it was impossible to open them further.

Complimenti, ciao.

Spectacular place! beautiful image, for me there was the double shot to better control the range, inter alia, the ISO 50 setting forces you to close more shadows view the steeper response in the lights.
Congratulations, hello.

Grazie Caterina, Pier e Rocco! Sorriso

Thanks Catherine, Pier and Rocco! :-)

Catherine, maybe I did not specify (and I apologize for this) that it is a mosaic of four images in the square in order to take the whole field which is at least 150 degrees horizontally or maybe more '.
But the point is that the lower part, that 'those relating to the sea and the rocks, was obtained from the median of 19 frames of 2.5 seconds of exposure each.
Whereas the upper part on the sky is a single exposure (more 'precisely two exposures combined into horizontal).

It was an experiment to see if I could somehow get the silky effect on the sea without the help of an ND filter that I could mount on 14mm sammy.

So in the end, Perhaps the experiment to mediate (with the median in PS) 19 images 2.5 seconds of exposure each, has had the effect of a single exposure to 47.5 seconds (19x2,5) pose with filter ND?
What about Catherine?

I h and the end result is very nice ... in downsizing the shadows are too close .. but I think it's better in the original file !!

a greeting !!

Grazie Gianluca! Sorriso

Thanks Gianluca! :-)

You're right, in the original file there are a lot of details in the shadows most ..... but how to retrieve them when the original file does not match with the most part of the final image in question on the ground that has been distorted by the program of union of the 4 pictures?

Ciao,
Giuseppe

Compo fantastic Tessi, draw a perfect spiral, I see shadows on the inside a bit 'closed.
Great experiments I would say, though with an ND filter is easier .. I too have the Samyang 14, they did a holder with a 3-stop filter ND8 but many complain from Cokin ..

Joseph

Grazie Kyagi! Sorriso

Thanks Kyagi! :-)
Ok for what you tell me sull'holder for the sammy, I had missed the news.
In any case, I have never liked the filters and then use the script to PS for stacking a dozen images and then mediarle is not so 'clunky, though with a nice ND8 you remove the noise.
Speaking of "noise":-D, as well as the effect of silk, to mediate many images you get a considerable reduction of the disturbance (noise).

Bella composizione e belle cromie. Interessante esperimento.
Complimenti, ciao

Nice composition and beautiful colors. Interesting experiment. I too find the shadows too closed. There is a perceived discrepancy between the appearance of long exposure of the sea and the clouds still (although this does not particularly bother), but mostly it seems to me that there is a cut silk effect on the sea surface that is missing in the plans further afield.
Congratulations, hello

Buon fine settimanaSorriso

Hello John, I know the technique and I've seen some examples of the results are good but personally I prefer to work with filters, blur is slightly different, I have the holder is not convenient to put on and take off .. but I have not yet taken the filter, for now when I need a long time I try to make do with the 17-40;-)
Good weekend:-)

Grazie Mario e Caterina.

Buon fine settimana a tutti.

Thanks Mario and Catherine.
I have corrected the image by opening the shades:

It should be better this way '?

I appreciate your comment, Mario, in effect on the sky there is no blurring of the long exp.
Catherine, I agree to the 17-40 that sooner or later I'll buy '.

Good weekend to all.

Ciao.

Better, although there is still some very closed area, more than anything else is the abrupt tonal transition between the dark tones and the absolute black jumping a little 'eye, but when you work with panoramas composed of multiple exposures is normal have difficulty, they are very complex to manage in the field or in post, for any purchase you recommend the new 16-35 f4 from what I've seen really a great lens;-)
