La vorticosa "Calàta di San Filippo" lungo il ripidissimo e tortuoso sentiero che collega la chiesa del Castello, in cui la statua di San Filippo è conservata, alla Chiesa Madre di Calatabiano (un piccolo paese in provincia di Catania); una trentina di devoti lo percorrono di corsa portando a spalla il fercolo con il simulacro pesante circa 13 quintali, regalando agli spettatori emozioni "da brivido".
