Con questa immagine chiudo questa galleria che raccoglie le mie migliori foto di tre viaggi in Norvegia nel 2012, 2013 e l'ultimo quest'anno a gennaio. La foto in questione è del 2012 ed è la prima aurora che ho fotografato. Di seguito riporto quanto scritto nel mio diario di viaggio dopo questa straordinaria esperienza. "Tacitamente abbiamo istituito dei turni di guardia e mentre siamo immersi in un sonnolento dormiveglia, è Domenico il primo a vederne una timida traccia fuori dalla finestra della nostra stanza.. "Eccola!" mormora piano.. In un secondo siamo in piedi! E' il segnale che tutti aspettavamo. Ci vestiamo di tutto punto alla velocità della luce e ci fiondiamo fuori dall'ostello con i cavalletti sulle spalle e le nostre fotocamere al collo. Quello che ci si presenta davanti è uno spettacolo indescrivibile.. Una enorme lingua di luce verde che serpeggia come un drago sulle nostre teste, alta nel cielo. Cambia continuamente forma, ad una velocità che nessuno di noi si aspettava.. E' viva, sfuggente, quasi sensuale. Di fronte a questo spettacolo tutto il mondo si ferma, il respiro si blocca, persino i pensieri spariscono dalla mia mente.. Tutto scompare tranne Lei. Sento le gambe che mi diventano molli, a stento mi reggono, mentre per l'emozione due lacrime mi escono dagli occhi, come rigagnoli di gelo che mi solcano le guance. Non ci sono altre parole per descrivere quello che viviamo in seguito?o forse ne occorrerebbero troppe. E' un sogno che finalmente si realizza e non mi dilungherò oltre a raccontarvelo.. Lascio che questa immagine parli per me.."
