Da piazzale Roma tieni la tua destra per il sestiere di Dorsoduro (non passi il ponte di Calatrava della ferrovia) e una magnifica passeggiata fuori dalla "pazza folla" ti porta a scoprire angoli incredibili, chiese piene di opere d'arte (che non puoi fotografare all'interno!!!) come San Pantalon, San Trovaso, la Chiesa dell'Angelo Michele, ... e quasi alla fine del percorso, sbucando sul Canale della Giudecca in prossimità delle Zattere trovi questo magnifico squero; arrivarci con la luce giusta è impagabile. Dalle Zattere passeggiando lungo il Canale arrivi alla chiesa della Madonna della Salute e da lì San Marco è raggiungibile in pochi minuti. Inoltre lungo il percorso trovi numerose trattorie a prezzi decenti - per Venezia -e menù discreti, migliori di quelli che trovi sul percorso solito Rialto- San Marco.
