La sala è decorata dal veneto Giovanni Battista Crosato e dal ferrarese Gerolamo Mengozzi Colonna con l'affresco raffigurante "Giasone e il drago alato" e, ai lati, le figure allegoriche delle "Stagioni", databili al 1733. Di Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli sono le tredici "Vedute di caccia", ad olio su tela, databili dal 1771 al 1777: qui sono raffigurate le varie fasi della caccia al cervo sullo sfondo delle residenze reali, la stessa Palazzina di Stupinigi e il Castello di Moncalieri. Le tele sono collocate entro boiseries dipinte da Angelo Vacca con "Trofei di caccia", 1790-1791. La stagione della caccia iniziava a settembre e raggiungeva il culmine il 3 novembre, con la grande caccia di Sant'Uberto. Il ciclo pittorico di Cignaroli testimonia l'importanza che l'attività venatoria aveva assunto per la corte: i dipinti rappresentano veri e propri ?fotogrammi' di un documentario sulla caccia reale, in cui i vari personaggi-attori sono fissati nel compimento delle loro attività specialistiche.
