Ritratti dei bambini di casa Savoia restaurati e restituiti a Stupinigi e collocati nell'antibiblioteca e nella biblitoeca della residenza. La Biblioteca e l'Antibiblioteca della Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi si presentano oggi arredate con un insieme di boiseries settecentesche che non fanno parte della decorazione originaria. L'attuale collocazione si deve all'intervento dell'ebanista Gabriele Capello detto "Moncalvo", che reimpiegò le scaffalature originariamente realizzate a partire dal 1738 per tre sale dei Regi Archivi Particolari del Palazzo Reale di Torino. Le movimentazioni e i riusi degli arredi nelle residenze sabaude furono frequenti e la corretta manutenzione delle opere deve tenere conto di uno stratificato e complesso stato conservativo. Il principale obiettivo del cantiere è stato quello di distinguere le parti originali dalle integrazioni del 1852. La metodologia di indagine si è sviluppata tramite il riconoscimento delle specie legnose e delle differenti dorature e cromie.
