L'isituto del modo arabo di Parigi è fondamentalmente un museo (ma ha al suo interno anche una biblioteca, un ristorante e un negozio), dove vengono presentate iniziative culturali legate al mondo arabo (arte contemporanea, attualità, fotografia...)
Interessante (da Wikipedia): "Un altro aspetto molto importante dell'edificio è la sua relazione con la luce. È un luogo che si sviluppa attorno all'organizzazione e ai mutamenti della luce nello spazio. Letteralmente questo avviene attraverso dei diaframmi, simili a quelli della macchina fotografica, attivati da fotocellule della parete sud e del pozzo di illuminazione al suo centro rivestito di alabastro. In questo modo lo spazio interno è reso suggestivo da una luce non diffusa né concentrata in poche aperture, ma che entra negli ambienti attraverso piccoli e numerosi fasci luminosi che conferiscono un carattere quasi sacrale allo spazio. All'esterno invece questo rende l'immagine del prospetto diversa durante tutto l'arco della giornata. L'edificio, non soltanto grazie alla presenza dei diaframmi fotografici, rivela una stretta e convincente relazione tra architettura e cinema."

The isituto the Arab world of Paris is basically a museum (but inside it is also a library, a restaurant and a shop), where they are presented cultural events related to the Arab world (contemporary art, current events, photography ...)
Interesting (from Wikipedia): "Another very important aspect of the building is its relationship with light.'s A place that is built around the organization and to the changes of light in space. Literally this is done through the aperture, similar to those of the camera, activated by photocells of the south wall of the pit and lighting at its center lined with alabaster. In this way the interior space is made attractive by a light not widespread or concentrated in a few openings, but chand enters the environment through many small beams that give it an almost sacred character to the space.
