Si tratta di un gioco povero per cui bastavano un fuso, una forma di formaggio e uno spazio dove far rotolare la forma e piantare il fuso. L'obbiettivo è quello di far fermare il cacio il più vicino possibile al fuso, attorno al quale sono disegnati degli anelli concentrici che delimitano cinque aree, che danno un punteggio da uno a cinque; i punti aumentano se la forma ruota attorno al fuso o se vi si appoggia. Questo gioco contadino viene riproposto sull'impervia pavimentazione a mattoncini della Piazza e il fuso in legno è piantato proprio al centro dell'anello di marmo che si trova sul pavimento.
