Riappare il vero maestoso cervo della Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi. E' quello realizzato due secoli e mezzo fa dal grande bronzista Francesco Ladatte, non la controfigura che nel 1992 lo sostituì sulla cupola della reggia, per far restaurare quello autentico, leso dalle intemperie. Dopo 19 anni il simbolo della dimora, ideata nel 1729 da Filippo Juvarra e finita da Benedetto Alfieri, è di nuovo visibile, esposto su una falsa guglia nell'ex scuderia juvarriana. Diventa l'emblema di una lenta, ma riuscita opera di recupero, che da oggi restituisce infine la residenza alle visite. Chiusa dal 2006, per dotarla di impianto di riscaldamento e risanarne gli interni, riapre l'ala di levante, trasfigurata da lavori che esaltato la ricchezza degli ambienti e del ricco arredo.
