L'Erg Chebbi è una delle due ergs (gruppi di grandi dune formate dalla sabbia portata dal vento) Sahariane del Marocco. L'altra è l'Erg Chigaga presso M'hamid. Le dune dell'Erg Chebbi raggiungono un'altezza di 150 metri e sono disseminate in un'area di 22 Km da Nord a sud e di 5-10 km da Est a Ovest. La località più vicina al limite delle dune è Merzuga, luogo da cui è possibile fare escursioni a dorso di dromedario nel deserto, addentrandosi al tramonto diversi chilometri all'interno dell'Erg, fino a perdere di vista il villaggio. Raggiunto un bivacco per la notte, si dorme sotto un mare di stelle e si rientra all'indomani alle prime luci dell'alba. #Deserto #Dune #Desert
