boswell acrobat, boswell hope sent on September 05, 2014 (11:12) by Steff. 15 comments, 1057 views.

, 1/1600 f/6.3, ISO 2000, hand held. Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe.

One shot that dream for years, it is not so easy to get them and it's really a shame because the light penalizes the photo, but basically I agree ...... who cares.

Thanks again to everyone.
Pmaffio, it was exciting. The guide took us into the forest where this giant work.
When he arrived he approached a lot and we motionless as rocks while sniffing a 15 / 20mt.a talk is easy, but when you walk them know very well that if something went wrong it would be impossible to escape .... However, Boswell is an elephant quiet and after having sniffed began his opera.gli other elephants who follow him are not able to stand up like him and they just do commensali.so you're like me, a lover of africa and I'm sure you would have loved live in the moment

Hello Steff, nice shot and nice document, it is not an easy maneuver for an elephant, you made me come in mind that in 2009 in the Ruaha National Park I photographed one too, even if from afar and a bit 'hidden from the trunk of the tree, I did not imagine that only very few of them succeed, so I've made me want to publish it. Congratulations, hello Fabrizio.

is something unexplained.
