L'aspetto che mi ha colpito maggiormente è la tecnica utilizzata per produrla. Se ho ben capito il disegno dell'aurora è frutto di una fusione di momenti differenti attuata, presumo, per "dipingere" il cielo fondendo i "migliori" momenti trascorsi in quei 7.5 secondi di cui l'autore parla.
Non capisco, francamente, questo approccio alla fotografica "naturalistica". Credo fermamente che una persona che decide di dedicare una parte significativa della sua vita a raccontare una "storia" di natura (come appunto un'aurora boreale) debba amare e rispettare il soggetto di quel racconto.
L'aurora è un fenomeno stupendo, se si ha la fortuna di raccontarlo come si vorrebbe, bene, altrimenti "disegnarla" in un'immagine creando un cielo che in realtà non è mai esistito è un puro esercizio di tecnica (peraltro banale) senza, a mio parere, alcuna rilevanza.
A mio modo di vedere il fulcro nodale della fotografia naturalistica è questo rapporto simbiotico che il fotografo ha con il suo soggetto che passa per il rispetto delle regole imposte dalla natura stessa. Non è una questione di tecnica, che è un mezzo, ma una questione di etica.
