Location: FAVARA (AG) – Farm Cultural Park – "Put in the trash, Putin" è un'opera realizzata ad agosto 2014 da Flavio Kampah, designer, pittore, illustratore, regista e stencil artist. E' uno stencil su due muri e raffigura Vladimir Putin, Presidente Russo, in un cassonetto dei rifiuti. Passeggiavo per le vie di Favara (graziosa cittadina dell'agrigentino che, dal 2010, ospita il progetto di rigenerazione urbana denominato "Farm Cultural Park"), nell'ultimo giorno di Carnevale, quando mi sono trovato di fronte questo murales che, a quasi otto anni dalla sua realizzazione, sembra essere tornato drammaticamente e tristemente attuale: non mi interessa attribuire torti o ragioni all'uno o all'altro dei contendenti, la guerra come unico strumento per risolvere le controversie internazionali è, e sempre rimarrà, la vergogna del genere umano. E consentitemi una riflessione personale: chi ha veramente intenzione di adoperarsi per la pace dovrebbe intervenire solo ed esclusivamente con aiuti "umanitari" e non inviando ulteriori armi che, giova ricordarlo, sono sempre sinonimo di distruzione e di morte.
