Farewell time sent on October 09, 2023 (3:13) by Fabio Ponso. 200 comments, 2535 views. [retina]

, 1/500 f/2.8, ISO 320, hand held. Uthai Thani, Thailand.

In this image, serenity reigns, three quiet people from the same family are there immersed in a wonderful blue and smiling at the photographer.

Careful and punctual reading that I particularly appreciate...
Yes, three, because the grandfather is there, with them, and he is preparing to leave for a long journey, to return in another form. A wonderful way of being and thinking that exorcises and perhaps even defeats death itself, understood as physical detachment.

Beautiful consideration and reflection...
Thank you very much Bruno.
see you soon, hello
Fabio

A photo that I look at and look at with admiration and interest.
The sweet smile of the two women that is next to the epigraph of the deceased: something profoundly distant from our feelings and, most likely, animated by greater awareness and intimate spirituality.
I really like the composition, because the gap in the shutter allows a glimpse of the everyday life of the domestic and family hearth. The colors are gorgeous.
Congratulations Fabio and best regards!
Andrea

A photo that I look at and look at with admiration and interest.

Words that make me happy...
The sweet smile of the two women while the epigraph of the deceased is shown: something profoundly distant from our feelings and, most likely, animated by greater awareness of the cycles of life and intimate spirituality.

Punctual and interesting analysis, as well as careful, reflection... I appreciate them very much...
I really like the composition, because the gap in the shutter gives a glimpse of the everyday life of the domestic and family hearth.

And thank you very much for pointing it out...
The colors are gorgeous.

:-)
Thank you very much Andrea.
A warm greeting to you

Hello Fabio A beautiful very suggestive image with faces of
the two women relaxed and serene who remember, with the image they lovingly hold in their hands, the departure of their dear relative
Beautiful also the caption that tells us in detail how this moment is faced by the oriental peoples

Excellent proposal Congratulations
A warm greeting and a good evening
Roberto :-)

The word "story" always makes me happy to read it in the comments on my photos...
Thank you very much Roberto.

You are very good at telling stories to let us know the life of this country that unfortunately I do not know; Images that are beautiful, but they also know how to hit that door that sometimes we close so as not to ask ourselves too many questions. When you open the door, maybe you feel -lighter- and it becomes easier to follow you. Bravo Fabio, thank you for the bright story and greetings alberto

Another, and perhaps less dramatic, approach to the question 8-)
Beautiful photo :-)

This is a compliment that I appreciate very much...

You've hit the nail on the head... One of the reasons why I make and propose this kind of shots, not "easy" and not "popular" I realize, is also this... Your words that really make me happy...
Thank you so much Alberto.

Another, and perhaps less dramatic, approach to the issue

Oh yes... Certainly different, even if in some respects it is still the same...

Bellissima la foto

Thank you very much
