All'inizio degli anni '60 ero bambino e un mio vicino di casa, padre di una mia compagna di giochi di cortile, faceva il guardia caccia. Il suo mezzo di lavoro era il "guzzi galletto". L'uomo più mite e dolce che abbia mai conosciuto, mi pare che fosse di origine Campana (l'accento mi pare fosse quello), sempre col sorriso, tenerissimo con i suoi figli, la famiglia e con tutti noi vicini. Il suo galletto era "bardato" esattamente come il garelli della tua foto. I bandoni facevano parte della sua carrozzeria originale, ma poi aveva un grande parabrezza che in basso terminava con pesanti mantelle di plastica per riparare dagli spifferi verso i bandoni. Quante volte l'ho visto tornare al buio sotto la pioggia o la neve, ma con un sorriso da orecchia a orecchia perché ... stava per vedere la sua famiglia. Non so come facesse a stare in piedi anche perché da Bologna arrivava fino ad oltre Monghidoro ... tutte curve.
