Being part of the Roma Club Frecce Tricolori, I got to know all the members of the PAN in the period when the patrol leader was Gianluigi Zanovello, I took thousands of images of them that I still jealously guard. Luckily it was all on film and you had to print.
I ate with the patrol in a hangar in Rivolto under the wings of Pony 10 ... it was a lunch of cold cuts and polenta, I will never forget those moments as I will never forget all those May 1st in which the clubs were invited to the first flight of our dear, beloved and inimitable National Acrobatic Patrol.

Avevo circa 25 anni, ed ho fotografato la PAN (dal basso) in lungo ed in largo ovunque ci fosse una loro manifestazione o sorvolo.
Facendo parte del Roma Club Frecce Tricolori, ebbi modo di conoscere tutti i membri della PAN nel periodo in cui il capo pattuglia era Gianluigi Zanovello, ho scattato loro migliaia di immagini che tutt'ora custodisco gelosamente. Fortunatamente era tutto a pellicola e dovevi per forza stampare.
Mangiai con la pattuglia in un hangar a Rivolto sotto le ali di Pony 10...era un pranzo a base di affettati e polenta, mai dimenticherò di quei momenti come non dimenticherò mai tutti quei 1° Maggio in cui i club erano invitati al primo volo della nostra cara, amata ed inimitabile Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale.
Grazie Generale per aver ravvivato questi ricordi.
