Capitale dell'Alta Savoia, Annecy è una città d'arte con una splendida unità architettonica. Passeggiare per la città vecchia di Annecy è una vera delizia. Con i suggestivi canali, le sponde fiorite, gli adorabili piccoli ponti e le belle case dalle facciate colorate, Annecy è all'altezza del suo soprannome di Venezia della Savoia. Che piacere passeggiare lungo i suoi canali o passeggiare per le piacevoli vie pedonali! Nel cuore della città vecchia, il palazzo dell'Isola, antica prigione e palazzo di giustizia, oggi ospita il Museo di Storia di Annecy. In prossimità di questo edificio simbolo del XII secolo, anche Rue St. Clair ricca di belle case con portici è un luogo da non perdere. Affacciato sulla città, il museo castello, antica residenza dei Conti di Ginevra e dei duchi del Genevese-Nemours, è dedicato ad archeologia, antropologia, arte, storia e laghi alpini.
