Le ho viste cambiare nel corso dei decenni,erano lisce un tempo,ora sono scarne;erano ferme e ora tremano;erano forti,e,a volte,pesanti,ora sembrano piume sollevate da un soffio di vento. Ma,nonostante tutto,non rinunciano,nelle giornate migliori,a posarsi sulla vecchia macchina Pfaff,compagna di una vita,per un piccolo orlo,o un veloce ricamo.
