Il Borgo è Santa Maria del Monte (Sacro Monte) fotografato dalle Tre Croci del Campo dei Fiori che lo sovrasta. Il sacro Monte sopra Varese è noto per il Santuario che vi si trova e per la Via Sacra delle Cappelle, un viale acciotolato di circa 2 Km su cui dal 1604, sono state erette 14 cappelle della Via Crucis.
