Non sono abituata a ricevere tanti commenti! Mi fa molto piacere che ci siano stati degli scambi di vedute anche dal punto di vista della composizione. Alla fine credo almeno in questo di aver fatto un buon lavoro. Da parte mia ho leggermente croppato l'immagine per togliere un po' di sfondo di mare a dx e sopra.
Quanto alle evidenti pecche tecniche, dovute sicuramente all'attrezzatura non professionale e in pari misura alla mia scarsa capacità di far rendere al meglio quello che ho a disposizione, sono perfettamente d'accordo.
Mio grande limite è anche la pp (come Claudio sa bene!!), infatti non uso PS o LR.... mi limito ai programmi on-line spesso con qualcosa di prestabilito.
Qui, a parte il crop di cui vi ho detto, mi sono limitata a dare un po' di saturazione (forse ho sbagliato visto che il rosso è diventato eccessivo, come dice Marco quasi fluorescente  )
Poi ho usato la funzione "riduzione rumore": anche in questo caso credo non abbia dato grandi frutti 
Quanto hai particolari del piumaggio, se anche fosse possibile recuperare qualcosa non saprei come fare 
Sono consapevole dei miei limiti e quindi il fatto di aver ricevuto tanto consenso e attenzione mi ha fatto piacere più che altro per l'insieme dell'immagine che a mio avviso è gradevole
