#Chiese - Focale 19 mmm - Rovigo - Tempio della Beata Vergine del Soccorso detta "La Rotonda" per la sua forma ottagonale. La chiesa fu progettata dall'architetto bassanese Francesco Zamberlan, collaboratore del Palladio nel 1594. L'interno della chiesa è una vera e propria pinacoteca del 1600 veneto, che celebra l'aristocrazia veneziana che governò su Rovigo fino alla metà degli anni sessanta del XVII sec.. Contiene tele dei maggiori pittori attivi dell'epoca, come Francesco Maffei, Pietro Liberi, Andrea Celesti, Pietro della Vecchia e Antonio Zanchi; inoltre troviamo collocato su di una balaustra a pianta trapezoidale, un pregevolissimo organo a canne, opera n. 34 del famoso costruttore d'organi veneziano Gaetano Callido ed il fastoso altare ligneo dorato di Giovanni Caracchio del 1607 che conserva l'immagine della Beata Vergine del Soccorso, ritenuta miracolosa.
