Location: Chiesa di San Nicola (Sint-Niklaaskerk), Gand. Un coloratissimo dipinto, situato a ridosso della parete di fondo di questa famosissima Chiesa, da cui ho "estratto" questo particolare. - Anche quest'anno arriverà Natale, e anche quest'anno sarà una ricorrenza segnata dalle guerre, dalla violenza e bagnata dal sangue di migliaia di vittime innocenti. Quelle inutili guerre che nessun popolo vuole ma che sono tanto bramate dai tanti governati senza scrupoli e senza cervello che non rischiano nulla (sono sempre al sicuro insieme alle loro famiglie) ma che sono disposti a "cancellare" intere generazioni. "In piena facoltà, egregio presidente, le scrivo la presente che spero leggerà. La cartolina qui mi dice terra terra di andare a far la guerra quest'altro lunedì. Ma io non sono qui, egregio presidente, per ammazzar la gente più o meno come me... ...e a tutti griderò di non partire più e di non obbedire per andare a morire per non importa chi. Per cui se servirà del sangue ad ogni costo andate a dare il vostro se vi divertirà..." Le parole che ho riportato nel virgolettato sono parte del testo del meraviglioso brano di Ivano Fossati "Il disertore" (Album: Lindeberg – Lettere da sopra la pioggia, 1992) traduzione della francese "Le Déserteur" di Boris Vian (1954): una canzone stupenda che, anche dopo averla ascoltata centinaia di volte, mi commuove ancora e che, se non la conoscete, vi invito ad ascoltare. - BUON NATALE e FELICISSIMO ANNO NUOVO carissimi amici con la speranza che il 2025 che sta per arrivare possa essere un anno ricco di luce e di colori e possa portare a tutti salute, pace e serenità.
