Hi Daniele.... I come just now from your shot that I took at the half-sunken wreck bent on the side of the Costa Concordia, an image in which, unfortunately, there is so much of the braggart, swaggering and easy-going Italianness, our sad flags..... thank you very much for your appreciation to my Segesta; Hello, Best regards, Giancarlo

:-) Thank you so much Pizza Diavolo :-) it will certainly stay up until the water level on the Po Valley reaches almost eight hundred meters :-) ! You want uninterrupted rain day and night and global warming that will melt the polar ice caps :-)

It is certainly positive if the water stays lower. Because it certainly floats like a stone. :-D

.... Mah.... I thought about it too.... everything depends on Archimedes' principle! In reality, the Nave Segesta inside has spaces and rooms that are physically empty volumes.... it is therefore not said that it cannot float ... in reality it depends mainly on the bottom, if it is cemented in the ground or if, those who built it included the possibility of a new universal flood, thus making sure that the bottom reached by the water could at that point detach from the land.... here for example near my house the famous Torre D'Oglio Barge Bridge that crosses the Oglio river, stands afloat on concrete boats .... it is always thanks to the notorious Archimedes Principle, which although millennia old never ceases to amaze us in front of the floating of ships and aircraft carriers :-) ; Hello, a warm greeting, Giancarlo
