Location: Chiesa del Santo Sepolcro, Pietra dell'unzione. E' questa la pietra su cui, si dice, sia stato composto il corpo di Gesù per prepararlo per la sepoltura: è difficilissimo raccontare a parole, e lo è ancora di più farlo fotograficamente, le scene a cui è possibile assistere fermandosi qualche minuto davanti a questa reliquia. E' emozionantissimo vedere persone che si gettano, letteralmente, sulla pietra rimanendo immobili in preghiera, altre che, invece, "strofinano" velocemente e con energia le loro sciarpe sulla pietra stessa, chi prega gridando e chi fa la stessa cosa cantando. Spero di essere riuscito con questa mia immagine, scattata con molta discrezione e non senza difficoltà tecniche, a rendere, anche solo in minima parte, l'atmosfera mistica del luogo e l'emozione che si prova ad essere lì presente. E così inizio questo 2023 con una foto che è sicuramente molto distante da quello che è il mio genere fotografico, fatto di immagini semplici e molto colorate, ma che cerca di descrivere un momento che mi ha particolarmente colpito, uno stato d'animo, dovuto alla misticità del luogo ed alla devozione, quasi esasperata, dei fedeli.
