An angle studied to perfection to highlight the beautiful flooring, a shot difficult to manage, I imagine for the limit set by the surrounding buildings but that you have managed to mitigate skillfully giving the scene that little bit of magic that does not hurt.
What a wonder your Sicily dear Sergio.
A greeting, Barbara.

Hello Barbara, I'm glad you liked this image and I'm glad for your appreciation to my region that I personally adore, despite its flaws.
What had attracted me to this glimpse was precisely the decorum, in front of the staircase of this church. Of the façade the only elements worthy of attention are the portal and the stone steps. I wanted to give them space. A frontal shot corresponded to this idea, but a rather flat image came of it. Tried to run other images with different pdr and this, which also includes the bell tower, in the background, is the one I liked the most. Even with the distortions made by the wide angle that I corrected only in part, believing that those left help to give that little bit of magic that you noticed
I thank you very much for your careful analysis of the shot and for your kind words.
Greetings and Happy Holidays
Sergio

Son glad you liked this glimpse of Castroreale. A village rich in history and even if today it has a role as a small agricultural center, it was once one of the major centers of the province of Messina.
Thank you very much for your nice comment and for the compliments
Greetings
Sergio
