Ci sono molti dettagli apprezzabili grazie all'impiego della luce che insieme alla prospettiva porta lo sguardo al soggetto...ma il titolo sembra evidenziare una altro particolare... “ Voragini „ : si potevano scegliere molti termini (fenditure, brecce, cavità, squarci) ma questo è particolare, dal latino "vorare", divorare...un abisso che non restituisce. Richiama subito gli aspetti cupi della composizione e il nero cupo delle brecce sul pavimento si sposano benissimo con la definizione ma anche il contesto nell'insieme richiama qualcosa di ancestrale, le voragini dell'anima e il soggetto femminile sullo sfondo, in atteggiamento riflessivo, richiama anche questa accezione con la differenza però di essere rivolta verso la luce come limpida percezione di libertà verso un mondo lontano dai propri abissi!
