Il Monastero di Santa Chiara a Imperia sorge in un'invidiabile posizione, affacciata sul Mar Ligure, ed è composto di una chiesa e di un loggiato che la congiunge con l'antica cinta di mura, delle quali rimane il torrione. Si tratta di una costruzione in stile barocco, che spicca per lo splendido risultato raggiunto nella fusione tra l'opera dell'uomo e la natura che la circonda. Il panorama che si gode dal loggiato è invidiabile.
