Excuse but engineering study and I like yellow: p
Doing experiments at home, author trusting and taking good for the 200mm focal length, to fill the frame portion, like the dog in the picture, with a target size of the beagle, you have to go about 15 meters away (pdc = 57cm); if you go down to 70mm for the same engraving on the frame just be 7 meters away where, f / 2.8 and a 70D with the pdc is ...... 1 meter !!! wow!
I would add, more realistically, that the author has also, potentially, carried a picture crop, giacch & eacute; the eye to the right is, in a perfect manner, on to the third upper line, and the lower leg, to the lower third; if this had not been done, the author deserves another "chapeau"!

Scusa ma studio ingegneria e mi piacciono i gialli :p
Facendo degli esperimenti in casa, fidandoci dell'autore e prendendo per buona la focale di 200mm, per riempire la porzione di fotogramma, come il cane in foto, con un bersaglio della grandezza del beagle, occorre andare a circa 15 metri di distanza (pdc= 57cm); se si scende a 70mm per avere la stessa incisione sul fotogramma basta essere a 7 metri, distanza in cui, a f/2.8 e con una 70D la pdc è...... 1 metro!!! 
Aggiungerei, più che realisticamente, che l'autore ha pure, potenzialmente, effettuato un crop dell'immagine, giacché l'occhio a destra risulta, in maniera perfetta, sulla linea al terzo superiore, e la zampa più bassa, al terzo inferiore; se questo non fosse stato fatto, l'autore si merita un ulteriore "chapeau"!
Sono prove riproducibili con qualsiasi canon aps-c (con pochissimo scarto) ;) Spero che non vi siano ulteriori dubbi, qualora li avessi rifai l'esperimento  |
