Nel centro storico di Valloria, minuscolo borgo di 42 abitanti a 15 km da Imperia, quasi tutte le porte sono dipinte; un vero museo a cielo aperto, con 176 opere d'arte che abbelliscono case, stalle, magazzini, cantine. Gli autori di queste opere sono artisti di fama internazionale di tutte le età che si ritrovano per le feste estive che animano la frazione di Prelà ("A Valloria fai baldoria”), insomma, da decine di anni tutte le estati Valloria diventa una sorta di centro artistico internazionale. La storia di questa festa nasce intorno agli anni '90: in questo periodo un'iniziativa dell'associazione locale "Gli Amici di Valloria", con lo scopo di far rinascere il borgo storico, ha portato nel paese alcuni artisti contemporanei di spicco che, con tema libero e legati all'ambiente, hanno realizzato l'iniziale decorazione pittorica di circa 70 porte.Qui, dunque, si fonde la bellezza di un borgo medievale rimasto inalterato nei secoli, con le sue case di pietra e i vicoli tortuosi, e dell'arte che ogni anno richiama artisti da tutto il mondo. #Valloria# #portedipinte# #borghi# #Liguria# #Z8#
