Volevo proporre un nuovo scatto dell'Eremo, il primo lo feci diversi anni fa. L'Eremo si trova in Umbria in un paesino di nome Pale, vicino Foligno. La piccola chiesa dell'eremo di S. Maria Giacobbe è posta a ridosso del massiccio di Pale, ricavata in un anfratto naturale. Vi si giunge attraverso un sentiero, che partendo dall'abitato omonimo, si inerpica sulla roccia del monte. Le testimonianze documentarie fanno risalire il Santuario alla fine del 1200, ma alcuni elementi architettonici, fanno supporre che esso sia stato eretto su di un preesistente insediamento pagano.
