I can't see the electrical wires...

congratulations you managed to make me digest them ...
(only for this time)

You're right: electrical wires are ubiquitous and a real nightmare for those who enjoy photography. In this case, however, the photo was born together with the title; indeed, it was suggested by the title. A game.
Thanks for the very welcome comment

The threads are really terrible!
I keep photos taken by my teacher just after the war...
I redid them to compare them, it took me days to remove them and
leave only the differences (houses, roads etc.)
to the next

Who is your teacher?

an old photographer Bonomi di Gazzaniga
who introduced me to photography almost 60 years ago... the
first machine he gave me was a bioptic Rolleyflex
6x6 rigorously loaded with bw film that
we developed together in the evening, I still remember the smells
of acids
that you remember ...
hello

Yes, it was fun. I started self-taught, shortly after the age of 20. From the first BN roll I developed and, after collecting a dozen, with the money saved, I bought an enlarger and started printing. Then I also developed the slides, both with the E6 and the Agfachrome with the original Agfa Kit 41. And then I printed from a slide in color with Cibachrome. But what interested me was printing myself in color and I could finally do it with enough control with digital. For me the real photo is the printed one. And it has to be printed by me.

I would say that we have a similar background
over the years I abandoned development and I
produced for many years only slides (which now I enjoy showing
my granddaughters), I am already a grandfather for 16 years ....
It took me almost 10 years to go digital, I couldn't master
and figure out how to interpret the results
Now with a foveon sensor, which I call "digital film camera" I
managed to find the bw I remembered, a wonder!!!
Of course, the good photos I print all in 20x30 and the good ones also in 40x60

I print the good ones. But I print by myself, I would never dream of entrusting my shots to someone else. And then printing is fun.... as it once was

I have thought many times
two questions if I can
what equipment do you use to print?
Is it worth it in economic terms or is it just to not give the negative to others?

Entrambe a 8 inchiostri e in formato massimo A3+.

I also have three camera bodies
my favorite is a Sigma Sd4H with fixed lens 30 mm f1.4 (which becomes almost 40)
but I also have other lenses always Sigma a
Sony ff A7rII that I used a lot for the street when I was in China with lenses from 12 mm up to 200 fixed and not
and a Leica (the cheapest of all leica)
I always thought of printing large, and I think you're right in saying that when
you see a printed photo you can improve the shooting I
think you convinced me, and for Father's Day I give myself a nice printer ...

Very photogenic this contrast between the straight lines of the rows and the triangle that interrupts them.

Thanks Raffaele. Always a pleasure to hear from you. How are your travels going?
I was participating in a discussion in which a couple of members are nauseated by travel photos, street, portrait, urban landscape and not: practically nothing would be good, almost all photography to date would be worth nothing. Only conceptual photography, with twisted meanings and unfortunately, often, banal, already seen. But serene fun nothing.
