Plougrescant (Comune della Bretagna, dipartimento della Côtes-d'Armorè) è molto famoso per la cartolina che ha fatto il giro del mondo e rappresenta una piccola casa di pietra costruita e incastonata tra due enormi blocchi di granito. Questa curiosità era diventata il biglietto da visita di un villaggio che si affaccia su scogliere selvagge dove troverai una natura che, anche qui, ha dato libero sfogo alla sua fantasia. Castel Meur è il nome di questa casa sorprendente. Ha voltato le spalle al mare sin dal 1861, l'anno della sua costruzione, per proteggersi dai forti venti che soffiano durante le tempeste, frequenti in questo luogo. Questa piccola casa fu eretta in un momento in cui i permessi di costruzione non esistevano, dove ognuno poteva costruire a volontà e dare libero sfogo alla sua fantasia. Era anche necessario avere un amore smodato per il mare e le sue stranezze per vivere in un posto del genere, specialmente in inverno.
