Una mostra dedicata alle “Sovrane Eleganze” , alle donne che attraverso il tempo hanno saputo destreggiarsi con maestria tra le corti europee . Un percorso storico ricreato con eleganza e meticolosità dal geniale Alessandro Lai. Il suo racconto dell'eleganza femminile è un vero e propio inno alla donna di allora e di adesso, ricreato negli spazi che paiono immutati del Castello di Racconigi , la storia nella storia, una vera magia. Ogni abito prende vita ed espressione nelle sale del castello e attraverso l'arte sartoriale dona allo spettatore un nuovo punto di vista sulla storia di chi ha vissuto queste stanze. Le Regge Sabaude sono tutte meritevoli di essere visitate ma devo dire che il Castello di Racconigi visto con gli occhi di Alessandro Lai risplende di una luce inattesa. Ogni sala inoltre è un percorso emozionale che tocca più sensi dato che l'artista ha voluto che l'officina di profumo Santa Maria Novella intervenisse con i suoi estratti. I capi esposti , in parte sono creazioni dello stesso Lai, altri provengono da archivi privati.
