Praga è una città che mi affascina moltissimo, ci sono stata spesso e prima o poi ci tornerò. Ho avuto la fortuna più volte di prendere uno dei suoi battelli, specialmente di sera, è bellissimo. Se ne avete l'occasione, vi consiglio uno di questi fantastici giri. Come per incanto, la città si trasforma in una grande oasi di magia, piena di luci, di colori, mentre in lontananza sentirete le note ora allegre, ora struggenti che vi arrivano dagli artisti di strada del Ponte Carlo. Non a caso, infatti si dice che Praga senza la Moldava sarebbe come un'orchestra senza il direttore. E' vero. Lo specchio del fiume crea un'eco visiva di Hradčany e di Vyšehrad, i suoi ponti uniscono Smíchov alla Città Nuova, oppure Holešovice a Libe?. Dalla primavera all'autunno è solcata da battelli e da gente in pedalò, nelle nebbie mattutine si spingono sulle sue acque pescatori solitari. E se volete conoscere il volto attuale della Moldava, andate a passeggiare sulla banchina tra Mánes e Výto?. Quand'è la stagione adatta potete fare la spesa al mercato degli agricoltori e trattenervi nei bar locali e in inverno potete andare a fare la sauna in una delle navi lì attraccate.
