SENIGALLIA E LE MARCHE

, 1/50 f/5.6, ISO 100, hand held. Senigallia, Italy.

Critiche e commenti sempre super graditi. Grazie.

Hello Anna, swiping your gallery I dwelt on this well composed tourist image that highlights the route to the sea (the photographer's back) of the river Misa running through the center of Senigallia.
Many years ago I spent a vacation and a short walk from the point where you took the picture I drew attention to an old store from photographer Featured showed different images and books of photographer Mario Giacomelli, which seemed obvious since this its place of origin: some time later someone told me that the shop was actually her and not hide the emotion I felt.
No more back and I miss the excitement of reviewing the store with other eyes, those of the memory of an undisputed Master of Photography. Hello. Ivan

Ivan, then that photo shop is still there and there is still the legendary Mario Giacomelli, has just moved a bit 'further down, at Porta Lambertina, always along the Misa. Virtually in Senigallia, they are at home, living in Milan, I go there quite often for 45 years, having close friends there. Many thanks for the nice comment and come back in Senigallia that becomes more and more beautiful and eating ultra well.
A dear greeting
Annamaria :-P

Hello Anna, I'm glad that shop that made the history of photography still exists: it was 1999 when I spent that holiday, and I learned that this was probably the work of Mario Giacomelli in 2000 the news of his death.
It 's true Senigallia is a place that has its own magic, in the cultural sphere.
Happy evening. Ivan

Ivan, it is true it is a town rich in cultural stimuli. The store called Giacomelli, is run by the heirs, and they always do exhibitions of the father of the shots. I often go to see them.

Hi Annamaria, beautiful this photo and also the caption.
Senigallia is my adoption city (I am Bergamo); It's a wonderful town and the Mica, despite having got into the house during the flood, is a river I love a lot!

Hi Annamaria
I live in Ancona and know very well the places I visit.
The whole series is very beautiful
If you happen again I suggest you to see and photograph Portonovo very characteristic part of the Adriatic coast that is a few km before arriving in Sirolo.
Very beautiful also the caves of the Passetto which are reached via a staircase that is behind the War Memorial
Congratulations for the images taken
