In un'aiuola a Livigno , c'erano moltissimi fiori variopinti , non ho visto un'ape posarsi su quei fiori , tutte sulle stelle alpine , il fatto mi ha incuriosito , sono stato parecchio tempo li per vedere se qualcuna si posasse anche sugli altri fiori ma niente...solo stelle alpine , da qui il titolo . Fortemente croppata . Faccio una rettifica alla didascalia perché , come mi ha fatto notare Falena , non si tratta di un'ape , ma , di una specie di mosca , nome scientifico : Eristalis Tenax , famiglia : Syrphidae , genere : Eristalis , sottogenere : Eoseristalis , specie :E.Tenax . viene anche denominato : Drone per la somiglianza con l'ape maschio , al quale somiglia anche nel suono del volo , è un impollinatore e si nutre di nettare . non cambio il titolo perché anche se non produce miele , è pur sempre un'operaia impollinatrice.

Great photo and close-up Renzo, excellent composition with "guest" and excellent definition freehand on selective maf; with that shutter speed raising the ISO at 250 or 320 I would have tried to close at least up to F7.1 or even F8, the 50ino behaved very well in the circumstance well supported by a machine not more 'recent but that can offer even more than a worthy contribution to those who know how to handle it with skill ... ;-); congratulations dear, excellent nature photos.
