Domenica mattina, ore 10! In maniera del tutto scherzosa ribadisco alla cugina Alda che ultimamente è diventata un po' pigra… non è da lei far colazione a quell'ora, anche se è il giorno del Signore! Alda sospira sui suoi novantotto anni e comincia a soffiare sul latte ancora bollente… poi, sorpresa che mi sto cimentando ad immortalare questo magico momento, mi proferisce che non è ben pettinata e non le sembra il caso di fotografarla in queste condizioni. La assicuro con un tono quasi malinconico che questo attimo effimero, inondato di pura luce mattutina, è il più bel dono che potevo ricevere oggi e che ogni particolare è perfetto così, come il mio sguardo che sta affogando in questo meraviglioso bagliore... Alda tenta di raffreddare il latte che pare ancora bollire nella vecchia scodella! Il pane inzuppato le è sempre piaciuto e non può farne a meno di iniziare un nuovo giorno con questa piccola soddisfazione… due assaggi con circospezione e poi si ferma. Un altro sospiro e volge lo sguardo affaticato verso di me, mentre la macchina fotografica sembra non staccarsi dal suo viso antico… il latte parzialmente scremato non è un granché, molto meglio quello ancora fumante che proveniva molti anni fa dalla sua mucca Olanda… e poi il pane… anche questo ha uno strano sapore… Le rammento il profumo delle pagnotte che acquistavamo nella minuscola bottega sopra la nostra frazione e prodotto da un carissimo e conosciuto panettiere di Cellio… Ma i tempi sono davvero cambiati... il fornaio è in pensione, nella piccola bottega si vende solo il silenzio e ciò che imbandisce questa tavola ora proviene dai supermercati giù in valle. Per fortuna del nostro paese sono rimaste le margherite… almeno qualcosa di semplice e profumato proveniente dai nostri prati… una briciola del suo tempo che le ricorda un vasetto sempre presente sul tavolo della cucina, colmo di fiori freschi che raccoglieva ogni volta che al tramonto tornava dai campi, oppure dal cortile prospiciente la casa, dove sbocciavano le amate rose di Santa Rita… Mentre trangugia la bollente colazione il suo pensiero corre a ritroso ai decenni lontani, quando a quest'ora della mattinata, anche di domenica, lei e sua sorella avevano già “spantegato” il fieno nei prati affinché il sole lo essiccasse a dovere… Il ricordo è confermato da un suo lieve sorriso… ne sono certo… molte volte me lo ha rammentato, e oggi è solo un altro giorno oramai uguale a domani, ma tanto diverso da un ieri lontano… Il bel chiarore della finestra sembra bagnarsi di lacrime e la macchina fotografica si ferma, immobile come le diafane margherite sul tavolo. Un magone sale lento, mentre il pane e latte pian piano... spariscono…“L'è l'ora che vaga a truvée i mei…” (è giunta l'ora che vada anch'io al camposanto a “trovare” i miei cari)… me lo ribadisce puntualmente con un velato sorriso, prima che io la lasci sola, ancora una volta…
