Ad una prima occhiata, ho avuto l'impressione di trovarmi di fronte ad uno scatto sottoesposto. Approfondendo, devo dire che la tua interpretazione è gradevole, mette in risalto i colori delle case, protagoniste del 'quadro'.

At first glance, I had the impression of being in front of a shot underexposed. Investigating, I must say that your interpretation is pleasant, highlights the colors of the houses, the protagonists of the 'framework'.

Non preoccuparti...dalle mie parti si dice :" ...non me ne vado di testa!" Ovviamente fanno sempre piacere gli apprezzamenti e ti ringrazio di cuore. Ho consumato un mare di carta fotografica per stampare questa foto (molti sanno, ormai, che io stampo sempre: per me la sola foto che esiste è quella su carta) e cercare quello che volevo. Ora ci sarà un mare di fotoamatori migliori di me, ma io volevo esattamente che le case "uscissero fuori", emergessero da una realtà un po' cupa; la foto la vedevo come l'esaltazione della sicurezza di quelle case con il loro calore, la loro tranquilla sicurezza in un ambiente un po' ostile. Magari avessi avuto anche un mare in tempesta: sarebbe stato il massimo! Non mi interessava riprodurre la realtà: io volevo che Manarola fosse l'approdo sicuro in un mondo difficile e un po' ostile. E volevo far vedere le case così. Ecco perchè ho sottoesposto, ho giocato col bilanciamento del bianco già in ripresa, ho anche regolato la D300 con colori decisamente più caldi (laddove, notoriamente, il sensore Nikon tende al freddo e al verdastro), regolandoli. Insomma ho "smanettato" un po' per piegare la realtà al "mio" gioco. Se ci sono riuscito...altro paio di maniche; ma l'importante è che mi sono divertito a "inventarla" questa realtà, non avendola, ci ho perso una mezz'oretta a fare un po di prove. Riguardo alle piccole critiche del maggiore spazio in alto e a destra, è vero, un pochino mi sarebbe piaciuto di più di averne. Solo un pochino proprio perchè fosse comunque chiaro che le protagoniste sono quelle calde e sicure case colorate

I consumed a lot of photo paper to print this photo (most people know by now that I always die: for me the only photo that exists is the one on paper) and look what I wanted. Ti ringrazio, non è solo postproduzione: la foto è iniziata durante lo scatto, dove ho alterato il WB per aumentare i toni caldi delle case e del tramonto. Poi è stata sottoesposta e ho usato un GND digradante della Lee per il cielo, mentre il mare lo lasciavo sottoesposto insieme al resto. Grazie ancora e complimenti anche a te per le tue foto. Claudio

Mi trovi un po' perplesso nella valutazione sulla PP del cielo, per me nel tentativo di esaltare le luci hai usato una maschera di contrasto troppo accentuata o hai aperto le ombre/neri eccessivamente perche' si nota (iso 200) tanta tanta grana.
In conclusione a me la foto piace molto, forse la mia e' la famosa ricerca del pelo nell'uovo. Ma siamo su un sito di fotografia e i commenti spero vengano presi come costruttivi sempre.

Find me a bit 'confused on the PP in the evaluation of the heaven to me in an attempt to enhance the lights you used an unsharp mask too heavy or you opened the shadows / blacks too' cause you note (ISO 200) lots and lots of Parmesan cheese.
In conclusion, I really like the picture, and maybe my 'famous study of the nit. But we are on a photography site and comments are taken as constructive always hope.

Di solito sono piuttosto critico sugli interventi in pp che vedo + come percorso x migliorare che x personalizzare uno scatto ---- ma questa mi piace, davvero tanto - e' un' interpretazione molto intensa e tecnicamente curata - appaga l"occhio ma anche il cuore - bravo, uno scatto da non dimenticare
