Riccardo Arrivo un po' in ritardo, ma ogni tanto passo ad ammirare le tue gallerie africane che mi affascinano sempre. Bello questo scatto con tradizionale contrasto di luce e ombra, senonché la mia deformazione nell'osservare le foto mi porta non tanto ad analizzare la tecnica quanto l'emotività. In questa foto la cosa che mi ha colpito subito è stato il volto dell'ombra, nella parte alta della duna. Si legge, almeno io ma forse con un po' di fantasia lo puoi scorgere anche tu, la fronte con la chioma all'indietro, il naso ben evidenziato ed il mento. Subito il pensiero è andato alla contrapposizione del bene e del male. La luce con i suoi splendidi colori infonde gioia, mette in risalto le particolarità che caratterizzano tutto ciò che ci circonda, forse anche solo in modo apparente, ma le sfaccettature risaltano. L'ombra, il mistero e la drammaticità. Quella figura, quel volto, in apparente osservazione, pronta a colpire quando meno te lo aspetti. L'ombra che nascondendo l'altro versante, cela le insidie e tende l'agguato. Quante volte nella vita l'illusione di aver raggiunto il traguardo ha fatto sì che ci rilassassimo e abbiamo visto il nostro sogno svanire. Se ci guardassimo attorno noteremmo le ombre che premonitrici ci avvertono di stare sempre all'erta, mai dare segni di cedimento perché il pericolo è sempre vigile, come dimostra questa foto. E' chiaramente una mia interpretazione che non vuole togliere bellezza allo scatto ma, anzi, vuole valorizzare il lato nascosto di quello che hai fotografato.
