Nonantola,cittadina del comune di Modena, tra le vie interne,ai margini dell'antico borgo si erge la Torre dei Modenesi.Risalente al 1300 ha avuto prima funzioni difensive con mura di cinta e ponte levatoio,poi fu utilizzata come prigione e come rifugio in tempi di guerra. Nel novecento le mura e il ponte levatoio vennero rimossi.Nel 2012 per i danni subiti per il terremoto e' stata ristrutturata. L'orologio presente e' del milleseicento. Questa immagine mostra in una giornata invernale di metà Febbraio,come la vita scorra a ritmi lenti e le biciclette siano ancora protagoniste della viabilità cittadina.
