Dear Pigi, thank you for your very welcome comment.
I took this photo in the floodplain of the Po in Guarda Veneta in Polesine where fortunately there are no particular problems, it works as a water expansion basin precisely on the occasion of floods and the few houses that are there have now been uninhabited for many years.
In other areas of Italy, such as nearby Emilia Romagna, unfortunately the situation is dramatic.
Have a nice weekend, bye!
Sergio ;-) :-P

HELP! Your caption presents a situation that has not arisen in recent years and is worrying. I read that it is under control there, however it rains a lot in the North and more water will arrive. The shot with the trunks, the water that seems to overflow from the screen and the two submerged columns is perfect in terms of composition and colors. Congratulations. Hello. Magú

Maybe you don't realize the problem until you experience it firsthand!
An impressive document of climate change that should make us think.
Great sharing Sergio!
Happy Sunday

Dear Jerry, thank you very much for the very kind comment.
Fortunately, here in Polesine, this is a normal situation, the flood of the Po is "cushioned"
by the floodplains that function as water expansion tanks.
Unfortunately, in other parts of Italy the disasters of these days are evident. :-(
Have a nice week, bye!

Very nice... a photo / document that makes you think, only three / four years ago we had the problem of drought,
the great river was at an all-time low in terms of water flow and in some places you could even cross it on foot.
We hope that the authority in charge will grasp these signals that nature sends us, if it is not too late.
Hi Sergio, congratulations on the photo.
Good evening
