Anguillara Sabazia, sul lago di Bracciano, provincia di Roma, in una ripresa eseguita al crepuscolo, con il sole già tramontato ed un cielo incredibilmente terso, con leggere venature rosee, di cui c'è qualche traccia riflessa dal cielo sulle acque placide del lago. Una ricca patrizia romana, Rutilia Polla, possedeva una villa sulle sponde del lago e allevava pesce di lago per rifornire il mercato di Roma. La villa era a forma di angolo, detta perciò 'Angularia'. Da qui deriverebbe in nome Anguillara (info tratte da Wikipedia). Con questa foto, termina il mio breve giro laziale, iniziato sul litorale di Fregene-Maccarese alla foce del fiume Arrone, e terminato ad Anguillara risalendo il corso del fiume, che nasce proprio qui.
