at 34mm, 1/60 f/11.0, ISO 250, hand held. Auschwitz, Poland.

Beautiful image of a place of pain and sadness! In order not to forget what has been, and hopefully will never happen again, for all persecuted peoples! Congratulations Paolo and greetings, Massimiliano

A very raw shot, although in color that conveys the horror of that terrible place.
Don't forget it's the only chance we have to make sure that events like this don't happen again
Engaging your caption, you rightly recalled the beautiful song of the great Guccini .
Congratulations for how you have proposed your emotions to us

Unfortunately, history always repeats itself, Giovan Battista Vico teaches. Your sensitivity was infectious.

I read in one breath your thoughts that you wrote in the caption. I
really liked the experience of your story, I have never been there, but even my parents who went there at the time gave me the same feelings. I
really liked your choice, which I share, regarding the color of a place that unfortunately we see and must always see in black and white on the darkest grays as a warning to future generations.
Then just look at the present and your concluding sentence is the right compendium.
Amazing people, they also take amazing photos,
Massimo

The Germans in these concentration camps and not only did all sorts of things, at the end of the war they did not pay their debts and now they rule Italy with a thousand devilry laws that they call European. . It's better not to think about it.
