Il «lago delle streghe» è vicino all'abitato di Crampiolo, Alpe Devero, ed è raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. Le sue acque sono di un color smeraldo reso ancora più acceso dal riflesso dei larici che crescono sulle sue rive e si specchiano sulla superficie. Un luogo magico anche per via del nome legato ad una antica leggenda che vuole lì consumato l'amore tormentato di una bella ragazza. Per via di tale leggenda si dice che le acque del lago rivelino la verità a chi sa guardare a fondo delle cose: io ci ho provato ma i dubbi che avevo sono rimasti tali, sarà perché sono miope……..
