Il perlage (innaturale solo perchè riprodotto artificialmente in casa) è comunque uguale a quello che si forma naturalmente di primo mattino su questo tipo di rose (del giardino di mia figlia), probabilmente a motivo della morbida texture dei petali: un perlage fine e uniformemente distribuito. Sulle foglie, invece, il perlage appare più "naturale" perchè riesce ad essere più disomogeneo. D'altra parte, gocce d'acqua più grosse, su questo tipo di rose (pioggia), tendono ad unirsi e a scivolare via per lasciare sui petali solo delle antiestetiche chiazze di bagnato
