Mai avrei immaginato, nel 2022, di vedere le immagini atroci che vengono diffuse nei vari telegiornali: soldati-bambini (l'età varia tra 18 e 20 anni) che vengono mandati ad uccidere altri soldati-bambini, senza neanche conoscerne il motivo: e mi viene in mente la struggente "La guerra di Piero" del grandissimo Fabrizio De Andrè.
Alla fine sono sempre i popoli, tutti, aggrediti ed aggressori, a subire le tragiche conseguenze della guerra: i "pazzi", i burattinai che tengono in mano le fila del gioco, si guardano bene dall'esporsi fisicamente e lanciano solo i loro "proclami" secondo il vecchissimo, ma efficacissimo, detto... "armiamoci e partite". Non sono sicuramente i loro figli quelli che vengono mandati al macello ma i figli della "povera" gente.
Ecco perchè, come atto di missione di pace, non riesco a concepire la fornitura di armi all'uno o all'altro dei contendenti: le armi sono e saranno sempre strumenti di distruzione e di morte e mai potranno servire per "costruire" la pace.
Speriamo che sia rimasto ancora qualcuno con un "briciolo" di buon senso che possa far "decollare" quelle trattative che, al momento, sembrano quasi impossibili ma che sono le sole che possano consentire qualche passo in avanti per mettere fine a questa assurdità.
